چکیده

High harmonic generation (HHG) in crystals has revealed a wealth of perspectives such as all-optical mapping the electronic band structure, ultrafast quantum information and creation novel all-solid-state attosecond sources. Significant efforts have been made to understand microscopic aspects HHG crystals, whereas macroscopic effects, non-linear propagation effects driving pulse inside dense solid media its impact on process is often overlooked. In this work, we study by comparing two materials with distinct optical properties, silicon (Si) zinc oxide (ZnO). By scanning focal position 85 fs, 2.123 $\mu$m wavelength pulses (Z-scan) reveal spectral shifts generated harmonics. We interpret overall blueshift emitted spectrum an imprint field modulation occurring during crystal. This supported numerical simulations. demonstrates that through manipulation fundamental precise control solids can be realised. method could offer robust way tailor spectra for range spectroscopic applications.

Generation and Propagation of High-order Bessel Vortices in Linear and Non-linear Crystals

Linear and nonlinear processes of transferring optical singularities from anisotropic crystals onto the wavefront of Bessel light beams (BLBs) are investigated. The generation of high-order vortices at the propagation of BLBs along the optical axes of crystals was studied. Particularly, a nonlinear frequency doubling of Bessel vortices in the conditions of new type synchronism (full conical pha...

Generation of high-brightness high-order harmonics

Optimization of high-order harmonic generation has been studied with a 30 fs laser at an intensity of < 2×1014 W/cm in a quasi-static gas cell filled with argon and Neon. The effect of propagation length and gas density on the conversion efficiency and spatial quality of high-order harmonics are investigated comprehensively. As a result of phase-matched propagation, both the spatial quality and...

Implication of Quantum Effects on Non-Linear Propagation of Electron Plasma Solitons

We have studied the electron exchange-correlation effect on thecharacteristics of the two-component unmagnetized dense quantum plasma withstreaming motion. For this purpose, we have used the quantum hydrodynamic model(including the effects of a quantum statistical Fermi electron temperature) for studyingthe propagation of an electrostatic electron plasma waves in such th...
